What a ride this 2026 has been. We are only halfway through the year, but The Reformist has grown plenty, and for that we are immensely grateful to you! Since last August, we have doubled our subscriber base and almost quadrupled our viewership.

We didn’t expect this remarkable growth when we first released our first 2026 edition of The Reformist, predicting the moves of the current administration. While most of what we predicted came true, for better or (mostly) for worse, it has been a joy to see that our articles have resonated with all of you.

From niche topics like grassroots development in the sports industry and urban housing, to the country’s seven macroeconomic sins and solar energy ambition, we promise to keep publishing well-researched pieces to offer you new insights into the way Indonesia functions.

With a growing readership, we realize that we haven’t really gotten the chance to get to know all of you and why you chose to stick around with us. So we made this super short survey for all of you to fill out so we can better understand why The Reformist is the way it is.
